The new Spectrum Gallery displays opened in 2008, include a range of toys relating to lifestyles and qualities of light and colour aimed at young children 3 -6 years, a seat and floor cushions for decrepit grown-ups. This sitting area is adjacent to the live caterpillar and microscope displays in the Park Lane Galleries.

See our document packs crammed with resources and ideas on over 25 themes linked to Victorian Cheshire or make an appointment to use our library – we can help you with special access to original maps, newspapers, fabric designs and lots of other sources to help you. Including weekday evenings.

Craft Club activities every half term and main holidays. Work in a group to try practical and fun ideas to suit every season. Aged 6 -12 years.
